Bicentenary of the fire brigade of Paris.
" TRIBUTE HAS ALL THESE MEN WHO RISK THEIR LIVES FOR OUR SAFETY AND OUR FREEDOM "
These festivities will begin June 4th and 5th, 2011 with the open days of barracks of Paris. For the Bicentenary of this elite corps of the French army, it is the opportunity to pay an unanimous tribute to all these men. (Fire brigades of Paris) and (Fire brigades of France).
The 1st Emperor Napoleon created the fire brigade further to a fire arisen during a ball which he participated and just escaped it.
On September 18th, 1811, he signed an imperial decree and the first firemen were born. Every day, since their creation, they allowed to save numerous lives and to préserve buildings which make the wealth of our country. They also participated in missions abroad on extremely delicate grounds among which, the latest one, the Tsunami arisen on March 11th of this year in Japan.
