When "the last drink" was published, the use of baclofen in the treatment of alcoholism was already very controversial. But, doctors seem to préscribe more and more baclofen to their alcoholic patients. Today, doctors don't have the market authorization (from AMM) to use that medecine in the treatment of alcoholism.

NEWS: this year, Professor Reinout WIERS, from the university of Social and Behavioral Sciences (FMG) of Amsterdam in the Netherlands, will begin clinical experiments that Dr. Olivier Ameisen has asked for over seven years to the French health authorities.
