Exposition et livre pour l'icone Joe Strummer et son groupe
Le Museum of London accueillera du 15 novembre 2019 au 01 Mars 2020 l'expo dédiée au groupe The Clash.
Un livre/CD sortira sous le titre "London Calling Scrapbook"
et une réédition de l'album "London Calling" dans un étui spécial
en CD, en vinyle et la bonne vieille cassette le 11 octobre 2019.
THE CLASH - "London Calling".
The Clash se forme dans la banlieue de Londres en 1976. Il est l'un des groupes Punk les plus populaires. En décembre 2002,
on apprend la décès du leader Joe Strummer d'une cardiopathie congénitale.
"London Calling" est le troisième album du groupe britannique
The Clash. Le morceau est sorti en décembre 1979 pour le début de règne de la Dame de Fer - Margaret Thatcher.
Un titre de révolte face aux crises sociales, économiques et politiques que connait le Royaume-Uni en cette fin des années 70' et début des années 80'.
En 2012, le morceau est le compte-à-rebours de la compétition pour les J.O de Londres.
